Hope is something you grow

Hope Community Farm began with a simple idea: that a working farm, with all its chores, animals and seasons, is one of the best places there is to learn, heal and grow.

Our mission

Our mission at Hope Community Farm is to build our community by providing a supportive environment on a working farm where learning, growth and a sense of purpose are cultivated through the positive impact of meaningful work, inclusion, connection, hope, and the healing power of horses.

Our vision

Our vision is to empower individuals and families to lead healthy and fulfilling lives, and to share our passion for, and knowledge of, the unique and impactful ways horses teach: healing hearts and changing lives.

We envision restored hope, happiness and overall well-being that bring true change to our surrounding communities, through the work of our like-minded staff, hard-working volunteers and, of course, our horses.

What we believe

Work is good medicine

Real chores with real results (a clean stall, a weeded row, a fixed gate) build confidence like nothing else.

Everyone belongs

Inclusion isn’t a program here. It’s how the farm runs. Every ability, every background, every age.

Horses heal

Horses are honest, patient and present. Time with them teaches trust, calm and connection.

Community is the point

We grow food, share meals, celebrate seasons and look out for one another. That’s the real harvest.

Our board

Hope Community Farm is governed by a volunteer board of directors.
